South Africa on the brink of collapse: electricity grid failure, water shortage, and violent protests

Collapsed electricity grid, water shortage, and violent protests. South Africa is close to being considered a failed state.

More and more people are describing South Africa as a country in free fall. The electricity grid is not functioning properly, which has resulted in rolling blackouts throughout the country. The situation is approaching a breaking point for the population.

In the video, I shed light on the seriousness of the situation and address some of the underlying factors.

There is currently great social unrest, and violent protests are expected to escalate in the coming weeks as the EFF party has called for a nationwide protest on March 20th. The EFF has warned that stores that do not close risk being looted.

Concerns of violence loom as South Africa braces for nationwide protest on March 20th

Many are concerned that there will be violent protests reminiscent of the extremely violent protests a few years ago that paralyzed large parts of the country for weeks.

I am on location in South Africa and will closely follow the developments and report back to you. Right now, I am trying to arrange a conversation with an official representative of the EFF before the protests break out. Additionally, I will speak with representatives of neighborhood watches to see how they are preparing for March 20th.
