Dear reader of South Africa Insight,
I have some exciting news to share with you! For the first time in our five-year history, one of our productions has surpassed a million views. And not just a million, it's well beyond that!
Our initial documentary about South Africa previously set a record with over 500,000 views before it was sadly removed from YouTube. You can find the re-uploaded version here. We've also had other successful documentaries, such as "The power brokers you never elected" and our first documentary from Orania - all of which you've warmly embraced.
However, this time, with our mini-documentary on the Plaasmoorde monument in South Africa, where each cross signifies the murder of a white farmer, we've reached new heights. Everything started when I shared the documentary on Twitter in response to a tweet from Elon Musk, who questioned why Cyril Ramaphosa remains silent when 100,000 people are inciting genocide.
The response was overwhelming, with over 50,000 views just on Twitter alone! One of the individuals who noticed our documentary was the user "The Typical Liberal #1 In Exposing Liberal Lies". He shared our mini-documentary on his Instagram account with a staggering 2.7 million followers, which sent our viewing numbers soaring. In just one day, we reached over a million views solely from that share. Big thanks for that!
It's incredibly heartening to see our work reaching such a wide audience and raising awareness on crucial issues. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you who support and share our productions. You make this success possible.
Together, we're making a difference. Keep sharing, discussing, and engaging.
Thank you for your continued support.
Warm regards,
Jonas Nilsson
P.S. Stay tuned! A new documentary on Orania is in the works. Check out the trailer now for a sneak peek:
